I have a lot of mint growing in the herb garden, so why not make Mint Juleps. It’s refreshing and still kind of manly because of the bourbon. This happened to be the best one I’ve ever made, hence the photo. Fifteen years from now I can look at this photo and say, remember that day out on the deck when I had the best Mint Julep I have ever made. That was good.
2 oz Bourbon, 2 oz simple syrup, fresh mint. Muddle the mint in the bottom of a glass, add ice, add bourbon, add simple syrup, mix, add mint sprig as garnish. Take photo. Drink. Repeat.
